2019-2023

Hired as Director of Operations just 6 short weeks prior to the scheduled opening in 2019, Open Jar Studios is NYC’s premier rehearsal facility with 50,000 sq ft of rehearsal space and production services located in Times Square, and

in the heart of Broadway’s theatre community.  In the beginning I was a one-man-band as the point person for bookings/revenue, HR/staffing, accounting, and facility management.  As we grew and were able to expand the FT staff over the first 3 years, I ultimately became Chief Operating Officer managing a team of 4 highly effective managers and their support staff.

2014-2019

Engaged to spearhead as their first General Manager, I managed RWS’s 2014 expansion from 2,200 sq ft of Times Square office space, to a buildout of 32,000 sq ft of office, creative and rehearsal spaces in Long Island City, NY while simultaneously managing the administrative needs of the company.  Key elements to the success in the first year were the completion of all construction and accomplishing the transition with no downtime in communications and productivity for this global business.  I was then instrumental in the management of multiple physical expansions of the campus, and as the production and administrative needs of this ever-growing company changed, my role changed as well.  Included in these opportunities was a period to lead the Production Services team, and ultimately became the head of all facility management and head of operations and rentals for RWS Studios.
